Laurie Maemura is a San Francisco-based print and multimedia journalist, photographer, and video editor.

She holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of California, Riverside (2015), a master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism (2019), and a Community College Teaching Certificate from California State University, Dominguez Hills (2024).

She also creates content centered on visual storytelling, film photography, and solo travel and outdoor explorations, which she shares on YouTube and Instagram.
